After and during difficulties, there is hope

Last week, after I wrote my post “Between hope and difficulties”, I sold all my Steems so I could try an experimental treatment for my horrible headaches.

To realize that, I transformed the Steems in fiat money and gave it to the doctor for an experiment not reimbursed by social security (about 200 euros).

It was a treatment with botox injections in my head and neck: 50% chance of success and if it succeeds I would have to resume it within 3 or 4 months.

Those injections are used in neurology:
Localized injections of Botox can help an overactive muscle relax by blocking a neurotransmitter (acetylcholine) that is involved in muscle contraction.
Unfortunately, it does not permanently deactivate muscles and because there is an abuse from people wanting plastic surgery; it is not reimbursed by social security. That means that poor people with neurological problems can’t support the financial costs and have to suffer or die because they can’t pay the treatment (4 x 200 euros a year).

Let’s stay positive for a while: I am very happy to tell that there is a positive improvement and my headaches drastically decreased!

Okay, my health is still worrying but I am not the one that worries ☺ I now see hope: decreased headache is an encouraging signal.

Next step is an ozone therapy: it is a form of alternative medicinal treatment that increases the amount of oxygen in the body through the introduction of ozone. I am still looking for a serious experimented doctor. Cost of the treatment is still not known.

Traditional medicine doesn’t know what to do to heal me. That is why I am looking for alternative treatments.

In the near future, I will have several choices to make: invest all I have to maybe remain stable / heal myself (I emphasize on “maybe”) or make a trip to visit a girlfriend I really like.

There are good arguments for every choices but my choice is heading to the visit of the girl, even if my health is in danger.

Why? Because if I die tomorrow - and that possibily of is greater every day - , I want to see her at least once.

Always postpone something is not always relevant: there are always excuses. Okay, my health condition maybe a good excuse but we shouldn’t forget we should live in the present moment.

If I want to live in the present moment, I should follow what my heart says; even if the outcome can be fatal.

I made mine and will see what the future holds for me: I am ready and in peace with all outcomes: life or death. One way or the other: life is eternal ☺
