Home grown veggitable - Spinach / Bayam

Do you like to eat Spinach or Bayam (in Bahasa Malaysia) especially home grown with no insecticide nor chemical fertilizer? This is an overgrown spinach / bayam plant as you can see from the picture. It has grown flowers as it started to grow older. It was grown i believed from seeds drooped from nearby. It is only one plànt and too little to cook for a meal. I left it there to grow and bear flowers for its seeds for future propagation.

My home grown veggie routine has almost stopped completely since end of last year after i was engaged to a 9 to 9 job in a small town 30 minutes from home. Since then, most of my home grown veggies either given up or no replant.
This small pot of bayam baby plants was propagated from seeds. Growing howe grown veggie is a good idea since inflation has getting from bad to be worse. Prices of daily food has gone by a couple of times since January 2022 and no sign of stabling.
Fir those who do home grown veggie may agree with me veggies harvested from own garden has a sense of achievement as well as self confidence with real organic vegetables.
There are several ways to cook spinach / bayam. You can boil it with soup, stir fried with garlic or just itself with light cooking oil, cook with instant noodle etc. It taste very delicious especially you are a veggie lover.
