Seriously? - Hands Off!

So I've had a member of the sales team leave. The next day I was informed that our Go-For was rooting around in the desk drawers of the now vacant desk (Why? What are they looking for?).

A customer needed a replacement Monitor and me and the Go-For went to look at what we had.

Me: "Where's that monitor gone off that desk?"

GoFor: "Oh, Umm? It's up there on the shelf."

Me: "What's it doing up there?"

GoFor: "Umm? I was going to have it."

Me: "What? Firstly, what makes you think you can have it? Secondly who says it's available? And thirdly and most importantly, did it not occur to you to ask?"

GoFor: "Well, they've left haven't they?"

Me: "But obviously we're getting a replacement sales person."

GoFor: "Oh."
