UC Olive 88, Drawing step by step /Rising Star
Greetings and blessings to all my colleagues. Today I drew a beautiful card from the game, it's the i198 UC Olive 88. This card belongs to the musical instruments category. It's an olive-green piano, so I think that's why it was named that way. I imagine it's used in military activities because of the color, or perhaps it's used in certain real-life contexts with that aesthetic. As you can see on the card, it's an ultra-thin piano, so it doesn't have internal components like the strings of grand pianos.
Well, to make the drawing, I started by drawing the card's frame. If you've seen my last two drawings, you'll notice that today I used a different frame design. In the previous two, I used a more elaborate style to give the cards a more creative look; in this case, it's a classic design, the one I've used in several previous drawings. This creates the perfect opportunity for you to tell me which one you like best. You can also tell me if you'd like me to make any modifications to make it look even better. Here's how it turned out.
After finishing the frame, I moved on to creating the piano body. I drew a large rectangle, which is the main outline, and then inside it I drew the other decorative elements. After finishing that, I drew some guide lines that I would use to create the keyboard in a later step. The lines serve that purpose and also give the piano a three-dimensional look, making it appear less flat.
Now we move on to the details. In this section, I drew each of the piano keys. I also added a raised edge above the keys to make them stand out from the piano body, creating an effect that prevents them from looking too flat. It's similar to the previous step with the lines in some ways.
Now I'll move on to the most fun and interesting part of the drawing process: painting. You'll be able to see how the sketch I've made so far comes to life. I used a palette of blue and lime green tones; it can also be called olive green, depending on the country and language.
With the painting finished, all that's left is the card's aesthetic details. In this step, I added the stamp with the game's name. Today I used a different font than usual; I'll try to vary it each day to give each card a distinct look. Other details I added include the card's name and category. And that's it, folks, the drawing is finished. See you later, blessings.
