RECESS PERIOD IN SCHOOL

The recess period is certainly the most attractive time during school hours. As soon as the bell goes for recess, a general noise begins. Students start shouting,singing and running into the sprawling playfield in front. The playground is occupied by students. Some loiter on the balcony and corridors of the school buildings. There is din and bustle in the playground. Some play cricket and football. Some take part in games like 'Catch Catch'. They take tiffin which they bring from home. Some buy food from the school canteen. Half an hour seems to be quite a short time. It is soon over. Then students enter their respective classes wet in sweat. Now they settle down to listen to their teachers.
