iOS eSteem App | Submit post page and editing toolbar position distorts does not restore on orientation changes

Playing further with the eSteem Mobile app in terms of orientation changes, I went into trouble with UI distortions on the Submit Post page when changing the orientation from Portrait to Landscape and back again.

Expected behavior

The UI of Submit Post page should not distort even after changing the orientation of the mobile phone

Actual behavior

The UI of the Submit Post page distorts on changing the orientation from Portrait to Landscape mode. Even after you change back the orientation to Portrait mode, the editing toolbar does not restore to original position. You can keep typing but nothing helps and tool bar hangs in the middle of the page.

How to reproduce

  1. Open eSteem Mobile app v1.5.1 on iOS 11.2.5 on an iPhone 6 device
  2. Login to the app and open the Submit Post page in Portrait mode of the phone
  3. Enter some text in the title and body of the Submit Post page
  4. Change the phone orientation to landscape and see that UI of the page is distorted. You will see the feed can be scrolled behind the page and text can be written continuously.
  5. Change back the orientation mode to Portrait mode and you will notice that now the Edit Toolbar hangs in the middle of the page. You can keep writing but nothing shows up in textbox.
Environment Details
  • Operating system: iOS 11.2.5
  • Device: iPhone 6
  • eSteem App Version: 1.5.1

Recording Of The Bug

To reproduce the issue, I have created a screen recording as well which can be found at the link: Screen Recording Link
