Kupi Pancong, Khas Aceh

Kupi pancong, that's a unique name often called coffee lovers in villages in the province of Aceh. Kupi pancong is basically the same as ordinary coffee, but this is a special attraction for some coffee lovers in Aceh.

Kupi pancong is coffee with only half a cup of coffee. There is no significant difference between cupping and regular coffee. It's just a smaller amount of coffee and also a slightly cheaper price.

Usually the lovers of kupi pancong are dominated by the elderly and are often found in villages. Whereas for young people, they may have been very minimal in their audience.

The mushrooming of coffee shops in Aceh, may not yet be a solution for some young people to become connoisseurs of kupi pancong which are typical Acehnese coffee. Some young people are still loyal to other drinks.

If the pancakes are not cultivated anymore, this Acehnese coffee might disappear. The government and coffee entrepreneurs can cultivate again with pancakes with various solutions, such as the festival of pancakes, or making kupong pancong as a special menu in Aceh coffee shops. So the existence of a pancake is also an attraction for tourists to make Aceh a culinary destination.
