My First Taproom-post
I'm writing my first Hive post from a cozy brewpub in Oerlikon. Why here? Well, sometimes you have to attend a course, and those are often held outside the city. Totally fine — especially when you can follow it up with a great beer in such a chill spot.
Brauerei Oerlikon is one of those places you simply have to check out. They offer the usual beers like a fine IPA and a Tripel, but the real surprise comes from the collaborations they pull off. For instance, they’re now working with Cloudwater—yes, the Cloudwater.
The pub itself feels like a laid-back oasis tucked away in a business park that, in true Swiss fashion, also houses plenty of residental appartments. The view? Nothing extraordinary, just the SRF-building. But that doesn’t matter because the vibe here is all about chill times. People clearly come here for the friendly atmosphere and a great glass of beer.
As I sit here, enjoying my drink after a day at HFRB, I see people walk in ready for a Brewery tour.
In a nutshell: good beers, surprising collabs, and a cool vibe away from the hustle of the Züri.
