Up close with some elk

I went out on my OneWheel in the area and was not expecting to see some elk. When I was riding, I saw a bunch of cars stopped in the middle of the road and was wondering what was going on.

I think I got about 10-15 feet or so from the elk. These things must be so used to people because they don't care about the cars or anything. People were all getting out of their cars to take pictures and these elk did not care at all.
