Hello everyone, my name is Nunzia, and I am writing this post to introduce myself to the Hive Community.

My life in few lines

Where I come from

I was born in Torre Annunziata a small city close to Naples. It has a really beautiful view of the sea with the warm slopes of Vesuvio as sourrandings. The weather is lovely, with warm winters and fresh summers. It is the capital of the "White Art", with around 60 mills and pasta factories, from which the only one still producing are Vioello and Setaro.

Nevertheless, it is not easy to grow up there; the organized crime is a constant presence. Young people are often force to leave the city, looking for a brighter future.

My youth

Being the youngest of 3 daughters was not always easy; the big age difference sometimes was an obstacle but in the end they raised me like mothers.

My parents were increadible with me, they give a solid education and art was always present in my life. My mother was an actress and my father was passionate for photography.

Becoming a young adult

Growing up in a city that I love from the bottom of my hart but with a lot of problems arised in me a sort of positive anger. The powerlessness towards a strong rooted crime organization increased in me the desire to fight to try to change something. But after a while fighting is exhausting and the desire to leave was growing in me.
More complications came when my mom got sick 😔. Unfortunatelly, she left us very quickly😔.

Despite all, my teenage years were full of joy, fun, travels and friends.

University and present days

With a strong determination i finished high school and got my master degree in Economy.

As soon as i finished university i moved to Emilia Romagna to start my own carrer and to flee from a situation that for me was no longer bearable. Leaving Torre Annunziata broke my heart; you can think that i am a coward and that i gave up,you can judge me if you want, but i was not able to fight anymore.

Now I miss my city everyday, but i'm proudly happy to work in a start-up and as a teacher in a middle school.

About me

I will try to describe myself through the photos of the things that I love to do among which there are: TRAVELLING ✈️, YOGA 🧘, FOOD 🦐, BOOKS📚, SCIENCE 🔬 AND MOVIES🎦.

Me and HIVE

I am very excited to be a part of the HIVE community, although I am still a newbie and I still do not understand most of the stuff. But I am a fighter and I will learn fast :).
I would love to share knowledge and experiences (both professional and personal) with all the community of HIVE and I hope that we will get along well.
