Contempt: A Zapfic Entry #105
Here is my entry for the #Zapfic 105 contest
They sat above it all, looking down on us, the pitiful ants below
Princes of the Earth, they lounged in opulence
We raged under the yoke as we died in our thousands
Only when all was lost did those princes cry "Spare Me!"
We culled them anyway
I'm looking forward to reading the other entries this week.
