October 12th, Indigenous Resistance Day. (Traditional Fairs, El Pilar, Benítez Municipality) || [ESP/ENG]

Beautiful afternoon, hive family. It's a pleasure to be here. I'd like to tell you that this October 12th marks the Day of Indigenous Resistance throughout Venezuela. In my hometown of Pilar, Benítez Municipality, we celebrate the traditional Pilar Festival (fairs). Every year, we begin on October 1st and run through the 12th of this month with religious processions bearing the image of the patron saint of Pilar, cultural events, traditional games, school fairs, and elections for the Queen of Indigenous Resistance, among others.
Bonita tarde familia de hive es un gusto estar aquí. Les cuento que este 12 de octubre se conmemora el Día de la Resistencia Indígena a lo largo y ancho de todo el territorio venezolano. En mi pueblo natal el Pilar Municipio Benítez celebramos las tradicionales fiestas del Pilar (ferias) cada año damos inicio desde el 1 de octubre hasta el 12 del presente mes con procesiones religiosas con la imagen de la patrona del Pilar, actos culturales, juegos tradicionales, ferias escolares, elecciones de la Reina de la resistencia indígena entre otras.
This year, in the religious aspect, as a tradition, we raised our prayers at the solemn mass on October 12, which was held in the afternoon at the shrine of Our Lady of the Pillar. We attended as a family, visited the temple to give thanks for favors granted and raise our prayers with faith and devotion of the Beniteños and visitors.
Este año en la parte religiosa cómo tradición elevamos nuestras oraciones en la misa solemne el 12 de octubre que en horas de la tarde se efectuó en el santuario nuestra señora del pilar acudimos en familia, visitamos el templo para dar gracias por favores concedidos y elevar nuestras plegarias con fé y de Devoción de los beniteños y visitantes.
After the solemn mass, the image of the Virgin was carried in procession through all the communities, accompanied by the priest and a band. The election and coronation of the Queen of Indigenous Resistance also took place, with a beautiful performance by the Raíces cultural group, part of this municipality. This was followed by a lovely night of theater with the special participation of Venezuelan actress and comedian Tania Sarabia 🫶🏻. The traditional festivities concluded with a mud-filled race featuring large, high-speed cars specially designed for the event, which concluded successfully. Greetings and a pleasure.
La imagen de la virgen luego de la misa solemne la sacaron el procesión por todas las comunidades acompañando del padre y una banda. También se llevó a acabo la elección y Coronación de la Reina de la resistencia Indígena con una linda participación escenografía del grupo cultural raíces que forma parte de este municipio. Y posteriormente una linda noche de teatro con la participación especial de la actriz y humorista venezolana Tania Sarabia 🫶🏻. Finalizando las fiestas tradicionales con un Pique fanguero con grandes carros especialmente de alta velocidad para dicho evento culminado con éxito todo. Saludos y un gusto.
