Making the Impossible Possible When There's Unity
Hello everyone, How's your weekend? Well as for me, I did a lot of household chores this weekend. From washing clothes, watering the plants, grass trimming,
floor moping, washing dishes and cooking and to scattering of limestone to our newly opened road. Yes, I had a productive weekend. Supposedly it's my rest day but because I don't have a house helper anymore, so I must to it with the help of my husband and children.
In my previous blog, I mentioned the opening of this road right of way going to our house. I am are truly grateful that all children of the late owner of this lot agreed to give us the road right of way. That's why I don't waste anytime and cleared the portion to be utilized for the road right of way. According to them it's up to us to fill it up with limestone if we can ask from the Barangay. So we opened this to our Barangay and it's a good news since I received positive feedback from them and that they are willing to help. They also suggested that if we let the owner of the lot to the sign the papers for donating the portion to the barangay they can provide maintenance and improvement of this road. So why not try about it? I ask the Barangay to provide us with the papers. So they gave it to me right away. I hope I can extend my time to this situation.
But then I even asked a favor from our Barangay Chairman to still provides us with limestone even if the papers still not yet available. The only problem is they can't provide a heavy equipment to scatter it along the roadway. So we have nothing to do it but to have it on our own. So in this blog, I want to share with you how we scattered our limestone from a muddy right of way to a limestone trough the spirit of Bayanihan
So we wait for a this weekend to come to scatter it since there's no class. With the help of my brother-in-law, nephew, niece, my sister-in-law we able to do it. We help each other in scattering and filling up the muddy road right of way going to our home. We started it by 8 am and we finished the task by 4 pm. It was so tiring but it's quite important to us and very successful. When rains comes the road right of way is accessible. I'm thankful to our Barangay Chairman for granting our request and to my brother in law and to all who helped me in making our road right of way accessible.
That's all for now thank you for reading and God bless!!
