Art, freedom and creativity will change society faster than politics. — Victor Pinchuk

On September 26th, 2018 South African President Cyril Ramaphosa made comments about the recent tweet by President Donald Trump regarding the situation in South Africa to Bloomberg (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2018-09-26/-no-land-grab-in-s-africa-ramaphosa-video)

In this interview he stated that there were no land grabs and no killing of white farmers in our country, as you'll see in this video, he was lying.

Each and every article is sourced from mainstream South African news outlets and the singing is from protesters and the infamous Julius Malema, leader of the 3rd largest political party in South Africa the Economic Freedom Fighters. He can also be seen firing what appears to be an assault rifle at his party's 5th birthday celebration.

Under Nelson Mandela, farm murders were classified as a priority crime. Measures were put in place to secure the safety of the farming communities and proved very effective. In 2007 his successor disbanded the Commandos, a mostly voluntary force that were responsible for nearly a %40 decrease in farm attacks and promised to replace them with a new Rural Safety Plan, a plan that to this day has not been implemented. Immediately after the Commandos were disbanded, farm murders rose by 25% and the government just stopped reporting the farm attack and farm murder statistics until September this year.

Anyone who speaks out about the farm murders in South Africa is labeled a far-right or alt-right conspiracist, a racist or some or other supremacist, yet, our own government under Nelson Mandela acknowledged the severity of the problem.

In a thesis for a Master of Arts degree from the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Limpopo, Christopher Gumbi compiled his findings on farm attacks in South Africa and he's most certainly not far-right or a white supremacist http://www.observer.co.za/farm-attacks-an-evil-within/
