Nutmeg fruit petals

The nutmeg fruit is covered by shell and inside the shell, the nut is covered by these petals. These are edible and used as spice in curries and masala tea etc. The petals are costly and can be considered a cash crop.
The nutmeg is used to prepare medicines in the science of Ayurveda. It is believed to be effective against diarrhea.
