The series, in its 4 seasons takes us from the beginning where a bunch of intelligent robots are pretty much enslaved in a park known as Westworld that humans visit to have some fun, and as expected, things eventually begin to turn around big time as the story continues to advance and the robots begin to realize what has been happening all along.
The story's main topic is about robots rebelling against humans and fulfilling their very own version of justice, and even revenge.
Seasons 3 and 4 are extremely different from the first 2 because they take place in the real city where humans live and not in the parks where robots were used for fun. In this fourth season, we can really see how much things have gone south for humans after the last season's ending. We will see a level of control never seen before and can even be a bit disturbing to watch sometimes. However, this was the natural progression of where the story has been going since the very beginning.
Even though the series could still continue with a new season, I don't think this is really necessary and the current final episode could very well work as the ending of the series. In fact, right now I will even prefer it to be this way.
Westworld has been an awesome journey, and it is my opinion it has given us enough. I perceived during some fighting scenes in the later half of season 4 a slight decrease in quality, and I think this could be signaling that it's time to end it. All in all, Westworld is an awesome scifi production that can be considered a must-watch for genre fans.
La serie, en sus 4 temporadas, nos lleva desde el principio donde un montón de robots inteligentes están prácticamente esclavizados en un parque conocido como Westworld que los humanos visitan para divertirse, y como era de esperar, las cosas eventualmente comienzan a cambiar a lo grande a medida que la historia continúa avanzando y los robots comienzan a darse cuenta de lo que ha estado sucediendo todo el tiempo.
El tema principal de la historia es sobre los robots que se rebelan contra los humanos y cumplen con su propia versión de la justicia, e incluso logran venganza.
Las temporadas 3 y 4 son extremadamente diferentes de las primeras 2 porque tienen lugar en la ciudad real donde viven los humanos y no en los parques donde se usaban robots para divertirse. En esta cuarta temporada, realmente podemos ver cuánto han ido las cosas a peor para los humanos después del final de la temporada anterior.
