Ozujsko (Lager)

So, I found this beer in Lidl the other day, and for the cheap price (approximately $1,5 for 50 cl), I thought I'd give it a try.

I've never had beer from Croatia, so I was really interested.

First impression is good. Nice golden colour, refreshing smell and stable head.

The taste is refreshing, subtle and light. It's not overly hoppy, as expected.
The light malts don't get the opportunity to express themselves in as much a sense I had hoped, but they are there.
I'd prefer a Pilsner Urquell, when having a refreshing lager, but for the price it's pretty good.
I'd definitely buy it again.
It's not impressive, but not bad either.
