IoT without Security is Useless
Internet-of-Things or IoT, is invariably going to dominate the consumer electronics domain in the near future. Are the commercial IoT devices secure?
Are people taking care of IoT security? People must do something seriously about IoT security, because without appropriate security measures, IoT would be the sweet spots of the hackers. If IoT is not secure, will people use it?
In this Internet woven networked world, we always need to exchange communications with the trusted partners or devices. May it be remotely switching on the light in my living room, or switching off the water pump, we need to send the signal to the particular IoT devices without any security threat in between. Moreover, we won't like that our personal IoT devices to be accessed and controlled by unauthorized persons.
IoT devices are not omni secure, we need to add proper security measures on to it. I am curious to know what is the status of IoT security in the commercial arena.
