Buying Local with Farm2TableMeats and Neil Fischer

Deadcountry here and we have been busy in the last couple of months. We have teamed up with The Moss Free Alliance, a newly formed cooperative in Colorado. We will have a booth at LeakCon 2019
The Moss Free Alliance is an educational collective based in the Colorado Rockies. Our focus is on local economy and production/manufacturing. We network with ranchers and farmers who produce food in a sustainable and healthy fashion. We also do this with artists, manufacturers and other business.
In this short video I do my monthly meat run from https://www.farm2tablemeats.com ran by the inimitable Neil Fischer. Neil is a Bison rancher and is part of a Colorado ranchers cooperative, Farm2TableMeats.
I do a monthly box and the prices are much lower than what you see on the board in the video. Developing a relationship with folks like this will get you some price breaks for sure. My wife and I spend less in a month with Neil than we would at the grocery store, and the quality is night and day.
Look them up if you are in Colorado, and find similar folks wherever you are. They are around more than likely.
Our goal is to develop a one to two year program where participants learn how to integrate into these communities, acquire knowledge, become land owning entrepreneurs and spread the project.Food, shelter and water resources are our main areas of focus.
An international network of communities supporting and promoting each other in a P2P fashion is the end game. A lofty goal, let's see if we can get it done! More to come so please follow along on our journey
