Holy Crap - Hive Is Looking Awesome
Hi Everyone
I'm certain no one here remembers me. In the olden days or yore I was the obscure fungi enthusiast known as The Amateur Mycologist. To say I had a following then is a bit of an overstatement, but I did meet a bunch of awesome people. My time on Steemit resulted in several insanely awesome experiences I NEVER would have had otherwise.
But then the price of steem dropped, and tax season came, and I very nearly auto combusted in response to the sheer enormity of filing my return that year. And, well, I dropped off the face of the Earth.
Fast forward a few years and, lo and behold, I have a Hive account! Huh. And that hive account has a goodly amount of accrued Hive in it.
Hive hmmm? Well, let's take a look...
What is all this? A video game?! My old Steemstem pals have their own token now?! Everything is so smooth and effortless - everything functions so nicely.
I'm deeply impressed. Just wanted to stop by and say it. I have so little time anymore, probably not enough time to restart my mushroom blog, let alone my other sundry hobbies.
But to the extent I enjoyed Steem and steemit and helped to try and make that place more than just an echochamber for HODLING, I'm really happy to see Hive blossoming into a blockchain with organic content creation beyond the rigmarole of alt-coin pushing and self congratulations.
Keep it up.
