Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the chance to watch several new movies, many of which I’ve really enjoyed because they leave a lasting impression—and the best part is that they inspire you to keep watching more movies in the same genre. That’s why I recently watched one that came out a while back called My Robot Friend, which is perfect for everyone, since it’s a mix of things that happen in everyday life and you can really relate to it. This is a film based on a great novel, telling the story of a dog and a robot who build a life full of adventures. It showcases true friendship, values, loss, and how some relationships will always remain in our memories.

En estas últimas semanas he tenido la oportunidad de ver varias películas que se han estrenado, la cual muchas de ellas me ha gustado, ya que dejan una gran sensación y lo mejor es que te motivan a seguir viendo más películas del género. Por eso hace poco una que se estrenó hace un par de tiempo conocido como Mi amigo robot, la cual es perfectamente para todos, ya que es una mezcla de cosas que pasan en la vida diaria y uno puede llegar a sentirse muy identificado. Esta es una producción basada en una gran novela, donde es la historia de un perro y un robot que construyen una vida llena de aventuras. Donde aquí muestra una verdadera amistad, valores, perdida y cómo algunas relaciones siempre quedarán para el recuerdo.

This film is very different from today’s animated movies, as it features a cartoon-style design that makes everything simple, fun, and—best of all—engaging. The story also gains momentum through small details that are truly meaningful, such as a gesture or an action. Plus, it’s set in a time when everything was different—people went out, there wasn’t as much technology, and happiness was out on the streets. That’s why the city is so central to the whole movie; it makes us feel like we’re walking through it, creating moments that are truly unique.

Another thing I like is the bond you can form with a pet—as a person, you’ll always give your best until the very end, and this movie is a great example of that. It also emphasizes those friends you make along life’s journey who end up becoming like a big brother, helping you create great memories and adventures, and showing how we keep moving forward even when things change. This film is a box of surprises, and as simple as it may be, it truly conveys something of great value—something not all movies today have.

Esta es una película muy distinta a las películas animada de hoy en día, ya que aquí el diseño es tipo de caricatura, la cual todo se vuelve muy sencillo, divertido y lo mejor atractivo, como también la historia va tomando fuerza con pequeñas cosas que realmente valen la pena como un gesto u acción. Además, está ambientada en una época donde todo era distinto, las personas salían, no había tanta tecnología y la felicidad estaba en la calle, por eso aquí la ciudad es esencial en toda la película, ya que nos hace sentir que estás caminando, creando momentos que son únicos.

Otras de las cosas que me gusta, es esa relación que se puede llegar a crear con una mascota, la cual uno como persona siempre dará lo mejor hasta el final y esta película es un gran ejemplo. Además, también hace énfasis en esos amigos que uno consigue por la vida y resultan convertirse en un gran hermano, para así poder crear grandes recuerdos, aventuras y sobre la forma en que seguimos adelante incluso cuando las cosas cambian. Siendo esta película una caja de sorpresa y por más sencilla que se, realmente está transmitiendo algo de mucho valor, que no todas las películas de hoy en día tienen.

I really enjoyed this movie because it’s simple and very funny. It’s been out for a while now and has earned a great reputation as a film in its genre—one that makes you think, encourages you to reflect on your friendships, and helps you appreciate life’s little things even more. So if you’re looking for an animated movie that will make you laugh, move you, and give you something to think about, this one is definitely for you.

Esta es una película que me gusto mucho, ya que es sencilla y muy divertida, además ya tiene tiempo desde que se estrenó y cuenta con una gran reputación como película de ese género, donde te hará pensar, te hará revisar esas amistades y a la vez poder disfrutar más de la vida de esas cosas pequeñas. Por eso si buscas una película animada que haga reír, emocionar y reflexionar, esta definitivamente está será para ti.
