Una vez que los tres niños se subieron al tren los esperaba un largo viaje, por eso se acomodaron y comenzaron a observar todo el paisaje, desde las montañas, los grandes campos de siembra y luego de varias horas comenzaron a aparecer enormes edificios, donde Charlie comenzó a reírse, Lucas sostenía su estuche de su banjo mientras imaginaba cómo sería aquel concurso, y Sofía estaba un poco nerviosa, pero a la vez feliz. Los tres estaba viviendo una gran experiencia y un sueño que había comenzado en un pueblo y ahora están en una de las ciudades más importantes que habían visto en sus vidas.

Finalmente, el tren se detuvo en la estación y los tres niños quedaron sorprendidos, ya que todo era moderno, lleno de pantallas y sobre todo la cantidad de personas que llega y se iba en los trenes. Al salir de la estación también todo era muy agradable, las calles llenas de edificios y cientos de personas caminaban de un lado a otro. Charlie estaba muy emocionado por haber tomado esa decisión y comentó —Jamás imaginé estar en un lugar como este— Lucas y sofia seguía caminando con mucho cuidado y disfrutando de la gran vista que tenían, pero comenzaron a pensar si verdadero objetivo en soca ciudad.

Once the three children boarded the train, a long journey awaited them, so they settled in and began to take in the scenery—from the mountains to the vast farmlands—and after several hours, enormous buildings began to appear. Charlie started laughing; Lucas held his banjo case as he imagined what the contest would be like; and Sofía was a little nervous, but happy at the same time. The three of them were having an amazing experience and living out a dream that had begun in a small town; now they were in one of the most important cities they’d ever seen in their lives.

Finally, the train pulled into the station, and the three children were amazed—everything was modern, full of screens, and, above all, there were so many people getting on and off the trains. As they left the station, everything was also very pleasant—the streets were lined with buildings, and hundreds of people were walking back and forth. Charlie was very excited about having made that decision and remarked, “I never imagined I’d be in a place like this.” Lucas and Sofía kept walking very carefully, enjoying the great view before them, but they began to wonder what their true purpose was in this city.

Después de caminar los tres niños llegaron al enorme edificio donde se realizaría el Concurso Internacional de Música Juvenil, donde el lugar estaba lleno de carteles, pantallas anunciando el evento y banderas de distintos países. Al entrar estaban un poco perdidos y también se llevaron una gran sorpresa y es que el salón estaba lleno de jóvenes músicos, donde algunos afinaban violines, otros practicaban con guitarras, había pianistas, bateristas y pequeños grupos que conversaban en idiomas que los tres nunca habían escuchado, siendo un desafío mucho más grande de los que ellos imaginaron. Charlie se quedó observando todo en silencio, Lucas miró a su alrededor completamente impresionado y Sofía sonrió con los ojos llenos de ilusión.

After walking for a while, the three children arrived at the enormous building where the International Youth Music Competition was to be held; the place was filled with posters, screens advertising the event, and flags from different countries. When they entered, they felt a little lost and were also in for a big surprise: the hall was full of young musicians—some tuning violins, others practicing on guitars—and there were pianists, drummers, and small groups chatting in languages the three of them had never heard before, making it a much bigger challenge than they had imagined. Charlie stood there silently observing everything; Lucas looked around, completely awestruck; and Sofía smiled, her eyes full of excitement.

Luego de recorrer ese gran salón, finalmente entregaron la documentación y recibieron sus acreditaciones oficiales con el nombre de RisingStar y los tres niños se emocionaron, ya que esa tarjeta significaba mucho más que una simple inscripción: era la prueba de que habían conseguido llegar hasta un escenario internacional gracias al esfuerzo, la amistad y la música. Les toco salir y aún seguían mirando a todos los participantes que seguían llegando y ese momento comprendieron que el desafío sería mucho más difícil de lo que habían imaginado, pero también sentían que estaban preparados para lo que sea.

After walking through that large hall, they finally submitted their paperwork and received their official credentials bearing the name “RisingStar.” The three children were thrilled, since that card meant much more than just a simple registration: it was proof that they had made it to the international stage thanks to their hard work, friendship, and music. It was their turn to go out, and they kept looking at all the participants who were still arriving. In that moment, they realized that the challenge would be much harder than they had imagined, but they also felt ready for anything.
