Appealing White

Hello there! It's great to be back in this contest again. It's been a while since I participated, for some reason. Nevertheless, I'm glad to be sharing my entry to this wonderful contest and initiative. Hope you find the shots attractive and worth looking at.

So, the colour white. A very popular and appealing colour. Many good senses and gestures have been attached to this colour. One thing is for sure that it orders a sort of respect to one who's wearing the colour. It also identifies as a portrayal of purity. Hence, you could find the use for such in our religious bodies.

The colour white speaks volumes. It echoes joy and celebration. When a situation is one of merriment, happiness and joy, white is an easy choice to go with. Maybe that's why brides' wedding gowns are mainly white; portraying joy and purity.

Beyond all that, white is a major choice for many things. It so happens that you could hardly enter a place or look around and not find something coated or adorned in the colour white. Looking around for something white to catch before the camera, the extension box was lying around. A perfect one to capture.

We all know that the wash hand basins in restrooms are mainly coated in white colour. This was no different. If it was white or milk; due to usage over time, I can't really tell. But it looks white, so it's captured too.

As mentioned, white colour is easily found lying around. And there was the borehole power box mounted on the wall. It looks dusty but the white remains subtle, with its shine.

Then the car. Yes, a Peugeot 206. I've always admired cars in white due to my flair for the colour. Even if it doesn't look that beautiful to me, or maybe a brand I don't really admire. However, the white colour makes it likeable to me. So was this Peugeot 206.

White seems to be a universal colour. In everywhere and every event, you tend to easily find it. Maybe its ability to complement and work well with any colour, makes it a wholesome choice for many reasons and cases. White is beautiful.
