Museum Tsunami

In 2004 the tsunami hit Aceh and left grief for Acehnese who had survived at the time. To commemorate and honor the deceased victims of the tsunami, a Tsunami Museum was built at Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda in 2009. There is a long corridor, with the sound of waves and water running along the alley that will remind you of the great disaster.

Many tourists visit this museum and see what is left of the tsunami waves. There are many objects left over from the tsunami disaster on display. like a victim's bicycle. In addition to the remains of the disaster, there are also pictures of the dead and stories about the testimony of survivors, as well as electronic earthquake simulation tools.
