I'm not me - #ZapFic

Once turned on, she was aware of its synthetic existence.
She awkwardly traced the wire to his skull. Her gaze connected with mine. “Unplug me,” she whispered. “I can't exist, if I'm not me.”
My fingers trembled as I gripped the wire.
