dCity - Now Receiving SIM for Ranked Rewards

This past week, the payout of ranking rewards was changed from Hive to SIM. It is the post making the announcement from dCity.

I noticed that I had stopped receiving Hive for being in the Top 400 INCOME for Ranked Rewards. When I double checked that when I discovered that I was still in the ranking but that the rewards were now SIM instead of Hive. I liked receiving the Hive but receiving the SIM instead will help since I will not need to convert as much Hive to SIM when buying cards.

Education Technology Tree

I am working to unlock all of the items in the Technology Tree Education Branch. I plan to have my education points up to 80 by the time I complete unlocking all of the items of this branch.

This week I unlocked the Open Source box for a cost of 150 SIM. Once you have the whole branch unlocked and have 80 education you have a chance of winning cards from that technology branch.

Student Debt

Another one of my students gather some debt while getting their education. The card changed from a Student to a Student (debt) card this week. So I need to pay off the debt.

The cost to pay off student debt has increased from 100 SIM to 130 SIM. Talk about inflation, that is a 30% increase in cost but since Student (debt) cards have a negative 1 tax refund, the best thing to do is pay it off as quickly as possible.

I was notified that after I paid off the debt the Student (debt) card converted to an Economist.

I was very happy to see that I received the Economist since it also provides 1 Tax Refund. This should help keep me in the INCOME ranked rewards top 400.

dCity Map changes

All of my cards are active however my SIM income had dropped to 13 SIM when my Student card changed to Student (debt) card.

After I paid off the student debt and received an Economist card, my daily SIM income increased to 15 SIM. this was the only real change in my stats.
