Away from me
Even on such a clear night
I still feel like I can hardly see

But I wanted to let you know
That no matter where you are

The 6 degrees of separation
Will never come between our arpeggios

I’ve got a rough idea of how this picture should seem
Like creating a melody line from an unfinished piano piece
The notes are so broken, so sad and so true
They’re kind of like all the songs
I’ve ever written for you

There's a world of art out there
A million new songs to be played
But there's something that always brings me back
To that playlist that we made

Every word, every note
Leaves me feeling weak with a lump in my throat
You and I
Are a timeless quote
