The better Man vol. 2

If you did follow my article yesterday, this is its completion. I had to divide the article so that I will be able to put the needed ingredients in the later part. Ok, we succeeded in dividing the three classes that fit into this article. You can do well to read vol.1

That said, we are going to run with the demander (children characteristic), the keepers (gentleman characteristics) and the givers (man characteristic). What to note is this; I didn't even conclude in my earlier article that the last stage meets up with the better man.

The fact is, many feel they have responsibilities yet they are ALL running a greedy lane. Does ‘Me, myself and I’ have anything to do with ‘Me, my wife and my children’. It means one can fall into the gentleman phase although still taking care of people. This goes more into a close Circle value.

Being better goes beyond. In short, let's look at the infant stage 1 where ignorance is inevitable. Someone from phase two can become a better man if he can think and blend faster. Maybe you didn't get me right; ‘you can become a better man even at age 20’. It all lies in realizing purpose early enough. You don't need to have children to start being a giver.

Talking of being a giver, this goes beyond the monetary part. How can you affect your environment? What can you offer? Are you driving any positive change or is it even any of your business to start with.

The most pitiful part is that someone in his 60’s can still live the life of a taker or greed. Let's look deep into the sector of governance; that hoarding mentality already shows one has not grown out of the bondage of greed. They pile up assets to a point there is no more room and still don't care about others. Can't this only be an attribute of a child?

To conclude, let me add, there is much to watch out for concerning becoming a better man. It goes deeper into becoming a platform for global impact. We all have inbuilt potentials that are meant to affect our environment. That is why I will always say, ‘think global’. You are not a child, grow out of being a gentleman mentality, your destination is being ‘the better man’.
