Flooded Lake Reflections
It was March 2020 when I took these photos, the lake close to where I live had risen substantially. I was told the lake had never been so high before, at least not from what anyone remembered.
Even though it felt alarming to see the water come up to high and slowly edging towards the cabins near by ( including my dads) it was somehow beautiful as the lake was engulfing the shoreline.
As the dusk was turning into night the sky turned into a deep blue color.
Here you can see more clearly how close the water is to the houses. Pretty crazy. It’s times like this when you realize that it is nature that is in control, it makes you feel more humble, and you stop taking things for granted.
