There are many great fish for catch and release in Missouri. If the weather is somewhat warm Catfish are probably the most fun. The trout in streams are plentiful also. I like to stick to small lakes for catfish, bass, and sunfish. If you want to fish for catfish I would make sure it is at least fifty degrees, use twelve pound line, and hot dog pieces are a good bait.
