Splinterlands Fanart Ice Pixie
Good day hiver's, it's me,Damonz who just recently joined the hive community. This is my second post where in my first post I practiced drawing by tracing splinterlands rexxie. There, @castleberry commented and suggested me to make original creations. So here, i try to draw water monster ice pixie in my own way, and of course still under the guidance of my cousin
@eustace-kidd π.
Procedure
I started to draw an outline starting from head and body. It's like anime because i use anime as my preference π. And that's the reason why i want to learn drawing beacause i like watching anime and reading manhua/manhwa π.
Adding the clothing's.
Next, i cleaned the lines and added a base color on it.
Coloring
Now i can start coloring. My sensei(teacherπ) told me to start coloring where i think thats on the back. So i start in wing's, skin, hair and clothing.
Here, i noticed that i forgot to draw the eyes hehe.
Effects
Now on the next step, putting the highlights and shadows. This is the hardest part for me.
If you noticed above, i already drew the eyes. Next is coloring and adding some detail's on it, like the white circle's just like in anime hehe.
Changing the color of the outline.
Now for the background, this is the easiest part for me π haha. First, i go to google and search for snowflakes background and save a picture that will look good on it and put it in my drawing π . I try to draw my own background on it but it does not look good hehe.
And that's how i did it. To the artist's who have read this post of mine, please tell your thought's and give me some pointers. Thank you very much.
Also I want to mention my guildmates in splinterlands. Guild master, master @pogier πͺ who always give tips and line ups for farming π. And
@quickdrawchev , our streamer and artist as well who joins the splinterlands art contest. Hello sir's, please take care of me π.
