DIY: My Quick Desk Calendar
Hello HIVERS around the world. This is my first time posting here on HIVEDIY.
Having a calendar is very essential in our home. Especially for me, I don't rely on calendars on phones. I need to have a hard copy of it so that I can write about the upcoming activities, events, and appointments for the following days. But when we arrived home last April from Manila, I hadn't seen a calendar here. I've noticed that there's no 2025 calendar here. Though I would be confident enough to rely on a phone calendar, I'm not contented with it. I also forgot to bring calendar from Manila so that's why it came up on my mind to have a DIY desk calendar. Hehe, so I decided to have a go with the desk calendar quickly. I found a design on Canva, edited it, printed it, cut it and made it into a desk calendar.
Materials Needed:
calendar layout (printed)
a pair scissors
tape
1 pc. round fastener
recycled carton box
puncher
Step 1.
I open the Canva app and found a calendar layout that suits my design, printed the layout of the calendar and cut it in half horizontally. I prefer 2 layouts in one bond paper to save space.
Step 2.
Arrange it by month and make a hole on top of it using a puncher.
Step 3.
Cut the carton box according to the size of the calendar and make a triangular form, put tape on the bottom part, and make a hole on top of it.
Step 4.
Put the calendar together using the round fastener, then put on the triangular carton box, and there you go. I have my DIY desk calendar.
Thanks for reading my quick DIY desk calendar. I hope you get an idea about it though its so simple but is useful.
Note: Photos were mine, taken using Oppo Reno5A.
