Secretary (film)
One of my favourite films, a million times sexier and more nuanced that Fifty Shades of Grey (the male lead is Mr Grey in this too). It's about BDSM, of course, sort of, completely... but it's also about the essential dualism of all relationships... the need to fit together, to interlock psyches
It's very erotic but somehow you get the sense that it's not played for eroticism; it's simply suffused with it.
And it's also one of the best films about work: the prosaic, sometimes banal, sometimes melancholic nature of everyday experience, especially office work. The transcendence of the dull.
And Maggie Gyllenhall is utterly beautiful and transfixing throughout...
