PARAMOUNT RANCH

This old town has been used for filming many movies ever since Paramount Pictures purchased the ranch. I appreciate the history of the this town since it dates back to the early 1920's and it's free to walk onto and explore.

THE COYOTE TRAIL

This is my son and myself, here we are at Paramount Ranch up in the Santa Monica Mountains after a quick hike thru some trails. Although my son was looking forward to seeing a coyote or two, I was glad we didn't.

WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE

My daughter is quite the adventurist when it comes to the outdoors, especially when it involves plants and animals.

THERE'S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN

And last but not least, my wife, the only one in the family who hit the old town in proper footwear, so we promoted her to the town Sheriff.

OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW

Old westerners would have never dreamed of such a huge jail nor did they ever imaging that keeping people in jail would be turned into a business for profit.

LIFE IN WESTERN TIMES

This old western town made me think of how life was back then, which leads me to ask
If you could live your life in old western times with no knowledge of the current times, would you?
before you answer, remember, you would have no knowledge of what life is like in the 21st century .
