The second passport solution: Get one while you can

It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain a second passport. This particularly applies to Americans as the US government appears to be actively obstructing efforts by Americans to obtain one. Many foreign institutions will reject Americans out of hand, failing to even consider their application.

The US government is shutting off avenues for Americans to offshore their assets. It might one day be illegal to get a foreign passport so if you can get one, do so quickly.

Some people are excluded from obtaining a second passport even now, such as anybody with a criminal record.

You also might want to live in a country where you are classed as a tourist because governments often treat tourists better than the way they treat their own citizens (tax and debt slaves).
