Balsam
Balsam, locally known as kamantigui is an annual herbaceous soft-stemmed plant. The flowers that come in different colours makes a showy garden.

- The infusion of the flowers makes a general tonic which stimulates mental wellness.
- The crushed flowers can be applied to burns and scalds, and on joint pains. Thus, relieves irritation.
- The decoction of the flowers is an effective emetic and laxative which produces bowel movement and relieves from constipation, and diuretic which increases the excretion of urine.
