Coinbase allows to display ETC to its platform

American Coinbase cryptocurrency platform promised its customers to introduce support Ethereum Classic, but solely in order to guarantee ETC output to address non-Coinbase.

According to a blog post, the decision was taken after some customers have expressed a desire to withdraw from its ETC platform:

"It is important to us that customers believed that Coinbase retain their assets in the digital currency. Therefore Coinbase customers will receive the full scope of the ETS, associated with their account. "

This does not mean that Coinbase will support trade or transaction in Ethereum Classic. The company still cautions customers from sending new ETC on any of the services associated with Coinbase.

Ethereum the Classic is the original version of the domestic currency bloc Ethereum chain emerged after hardfora, held two weeks ago. In terms of market capitalization ETS currently ranks fifth among cryptocurrency behind Bitcoin, Ethereum, Steem and Ripple.
