Why Did I Resteem That? @sammosk

This is a look into the beating heart that keeps the content flowing in Steemit. Each hour that I spend here I find something that brings me those cleansing heartfelt tears. Compassion towards others, the reaching out to offer encouragement to one another.

Words, music, art in so many mediums. Beautiful photographs and silly memes...and humour. Steemit is like no other social platform I have discovered. It's alive!

Steemit is a growing, breathing living tapestry of mass expressionism. May you find inspiration to let yourself be the most free flowing, non-self-judgmental person you can be and never think twice about clicking that POST button.

What you might be second guessing is undoubtedly someone's first choice to enjoy...in their moment of discovery. Maybe not now or even the first week of your post. Just put it out...let it go.

You are a part of the richness of content here that turns the spam, the weak minded offerings of copy/re-paste and the drab wash of "this post was hidden due to low ratings" into nothing more than the muted background on which to create this great mural of human creativity and emotional expression. Borderless and unbound.

If you are one who struggles to share your worst then how can you ever become your best? I know this feeling. I struggle with self doubt in sharing my main passion in life (for good reason) but I have no hesitation in being myself here. Follow your heart and continue the beat of the rhythm that is Steemit.

If you have a friend, a family member or a special person in your social network who hasn't heard of this wondrous place then I think you owe it to them, should they seem reluctant, to insist they just try. This is not a competition, nor is Steemit a place of judgement and derision. We all are the lungs that continue to breathe life into Steemit.

They'll find such fears melt away in quick time once the warmth of the realization, that there is a sense of sharing and caring for all here, settles within. This is what we all have to give one another. Love is a circle of warmth. Allow it in...to let it out.

Put your finger on this and feel Steemit's pulse. It is strong!
