Day one
Death is the card of the day. A sign for needed changes, and the end of a cycle. Though many people fear receiving this card, its not at all anything to be afraid of. Creating an eerie vibe with the name alone, add unlucky number 13 and the chill factor goes up. 13 is the number based on the Major Arcana in Tarot cards. Its also important to the Wiccan aspect for the 13 moons throughout the year. With nature's intention, everything begins and ends.
In Tarot reading, there are uprights and upside-down(just as there is in life). In the upright position the card signifies endings, beginnings, change, transformation, transition. See? Though all of this represents change, which we as humans detest, its nowhere near as scary as literal death. Everything in life must end. A bad relationship, a dead end job, being in a rut, it all ends at some point.
In the opposite direction, you have the reversed meanings. This can be summed up as resisting change and the unwillingness to move on. Maybe you know what should happen, but you are unwilling to accept it. Sometimes it may(and i very lightheartedly say may) be for the better to hang on, but most of the time it is not.
