I'm kind of liking the discourse, discussion, and bickering. It's what makes Nostr good and makes it better. My knee jerk thoughts:

• it's just cool that on-chain zaps can be done
• it's extremely expensive
  it's overkill to do it on-chain when LN works faster
• I get that privacy issues on-chain are an issue; that said, if you want to publicly give me a million dollars, or 10 or a billion, I'll accept it; when people win the lottery in places that require it to be publicly known, I've never heard of anyone to say, "No thank you"
• the market will work it out; currently, the market is clearly on the side of LN and I think the market will only lean even more so that way as "number go up"
  let innovation innovate; we'll decide what sticks

Overall, I think the free market will work it out and on-chain zaps will pass but the ability to innovate break new unexplored ground is a good thing too.
