The Stolen Gold

Hello everyone! Wildstyle here! This is my entry for @goodguygreg's St. Patrick's Day Writing Contest.

"The Stolen Gold!"

The leprechaun suddenly realized his gold was missing.
“It was a thief!” He cried. “What shall I do?”
Then, all of a sudden, he heard tip-toeing, so he packed a bag and went towards the noise. In his bag, he packed string, scissors, snacks, his pet snake, all the gold he had left and a black suit. He ran towards the sound, then stopped and listened. He waited and put on his black suit. He looked between two bushes and he saw a gang of robbers. In the middle of them was a sack. They had his gold!

He had to think quick! He had to use the things that were in his bag. So he pulled out the scissors and the string and the rest of his gold. He put the gold by a tree.. He tied the string to two trees right in front of his gold. He hid behind the trees and he waited… and waited… and waited… It was a good thing he brought snacks because he got hungry! Finally, the sun came up. Then the sun shined onto his gold which made a light shining off it. The bad guys saw the light and ran towards it. BUT, they didn’t see the string and they all tripped. Then the pet snake, Bellatrix, distracted the robbers by slithering around them so they couldn’t move. The leprechaun ran around them and grabbed all his gold and jumped over the two bushes and ran back to his house with the snake slithering after him.

The gang of robbers got very scared and never tried to steal his gold again!
