A hard but nice work day [ENG-ESP]

Some time ago I was told that in the restaurant Manifiesto, located in Caracas, you could use the internet and spend as much time as you wanted working. So instead of working in the office, I took my laptop, markers and notebooks to work at Manifiesto.

Hace un tiempo me habían comentado que en el restaurante Manifiesto, ubicado en Caracas, podías utilizar el internet y pasar el rato que quisieras trabajando. Así que en lugar de trabajar en la oficina, llevé mi laptop, mis marcadores y cuadernos para trabajar en Manifiesto.

I arrived at the place and for breakfast I ordered some ham and eggs with a hot tea. I really liked the eggs but the tea made me really fall in love, it was delicious! After breakfast, work began.

Llegué al local y para desayunar pedí unos huevos con jamón con un té caliente. Me gustaron muchos los huevos pero el té me dejó realmente enamorada ¡estaba riquísimo! Luego de desayunar, empezó el trabajo.

My main task for the day was to start interviewing for an illustrator. In the morning I filtered the applications, there were more than 60 applicants, I reviewed everyone's portfolios and I was selecting candidates and scheduling interviews.

Mi tarea principal del día fue iniciar las entrevistas para encontrar un ilustrador. Por la mañana filtré las postulaciones, había mas de 60 aspirantes, revisé los portafolios de todos y fui seleccionando candidatos y pautando entrevistas.

In the afternoon, I was fully dedicated to conduct interviews by video-call. I was doing this task from 2:00 to 7:00 PM, I took very few rest periods, but all in all it was enjoyable since I was working in this beautiful space.

Por la tarde, me dediqué de lleno a realizar entrevistas por video-llamada. Estuve haciendo esta tarea desde las 2:00 a 7 PM, tomé muy pocos periodos de descanso, pero dentro de todo se me hizo ameno ya que me encontraba trabajando en este espacio bonito.

In the evening, we had to go to another restaurant to shoot an event and some meals. We were there until 10:30 PM and arrived home exhausted, but at the end of the day, despite the physical exhaustion, I must recognize and thank that it was a good, nice, fun and productive day.

A la noche, tuvimos que asistir a otro restaurante a grabar un evento y unos platos de comida. Estuvimos allí hasta las 10:30 PM y llegamos bastante cansados a casa, pero al final del día, a pesar del agotamiento físico debo reconocer y agradecer que fue un buen día, bonito, divertido y productivo.

The environment positively influenced my productivity and motivation during the execution of tasks. The background music of the place kept me relaxed (there was a lot of lo-fi), the attention of the waitresses with the water or coffee, the delicious food and in general all the comfort they offer undoubtedly helped me feel more comfortable and focused on my tasks.

El ambiente influyó de manera positiva en mi productividad y mi motivación durante la ejecución de tareas. La música de fondo del lugar (mucho lo-fi), la atención de las mesoneras con el agua o el café, la comida deliciosa y en general toda la comodidad que ofrecen sin dudas me ayudó a sentirme mas cómoda y enfocada en mis tareas.
