Hoy volvimos a la vieja confiable. Literalmente, después de unas cuantas partidas asquerosas, mi equipo y yo dijimos "ya fue, vamos a Dust2" pensando que iba a ser un emparejamiento rápido en Premier para sacar algo de ELO y listo. Spoiler: no lo fue.

Ya todos sabemos cómo es este mapa. Si te toca un equipo que sabe defender bien las puertas de medio o te frena el típico "rush a B", el juego se te hace eterno. Y esta vez nos tocó sudar de verdad. Fue una de esas partidas súper cerradas donde nadie regalaba un solo kill y la economía siempre estaba colgando de un hilo.

Les dejo el video con la partida completa porque de verdad vale la pena ver cómo escaló la cosa. Empezamos súper fríos, manqueando bastante por no limpiar bien los ángulos en Larga, pero después nos pusimos las pilas y se descontroló todo.

Sinceramente, aunque Dust2 es el mapa más quemado de la historia del universo, cuando te tocan partidas así de intensas te acuerdas por qué el Counter-Strike sigue siendo el mejor FPS que hay.

And this time, we really had to work up a sweat. It was one of those super close matches where nobody gave away a single kill and our economy was always hanging by a thread.

I’m sharing the video of the full match because it’s really worth watching how things escalated. We started off really sluggish, messing up a lot by not clearing the angles properly in Larga, but then we got our act together and everything went haywire.

Honestly, even though Dust2 is the most overplayed map in the history of the universe, when you find yourself in matches this intense, you remember why Counter-Strike is still the best FPS out there.
