Recito poema 'Tardes frías'

_{Ciudad Bolívar, 2013}

Back in 2013 I felt a deep nostalgia (not to mention sadness), in which I immersed myself for a long time in loneliness. It wasn't tragic, it wasn't bad. All the melancholy was the price to pay for the lights I found in "my cave". I am grateful for every moment I lived in that place, especially the sunsets I had the joy of witnessing from a rooftop. God has mysterious ways of manifesting himself, even in the shadows, even in tears.

Cold evenings

The light that guides me pales
vulnerable to the voices of the night
to my strident silence
bent on your courtship
to your fading radiance

I long to have you at such a high cost

I can't stand the idea of vice
I climb to seek your radiance
under the shadow of the moon
irony that it's cold and you're not around
you keep yourself safe
in the light of my sunset

I share my nostalgia
though the pain belongs to me
and I'll be silent so you won't hear anything.

Por allá en el año 2013 sentía una profunda nostalgia (por no mencionar tristeza), en la que me sumergí durante mucho tiempo en la soledad. No era trágico, no era malo. Toda la melancolía era el precio a pagar por las luces que encontré en "mi cueva". Agradezco cada momento que viví en ese lugar, sobre todo los atardeceres que tenía la dicha de presenciar desde un techo. Dios tiene formas misteriosas de manifestarse, incluso en las sombras, incluso en las lágrimas.

Tardes frías

La luz que me guía palidece
vulnerable a las voces de la noche
a mi estridente silencio
empeñado en tu cortejo
a tu desvanecido resplandor
añoro tenerte a tan alto costo

No soporto la idea del vicio
trepo para buscar tu fulgor
bajo la sombra de la luna
ironía que haga frío y no estés
te mantienes a salvo
en la luz de mi atardecer

Comparto mi nostalgia
aunque el dolor me pertenece
y estaré en silencio para que nada escuches.
