The essence for which we do most of the things we do is to be relevant in life. Many of us go as far as to use our names on buildings for people to remember us. (read Genesis 4:17).

Relevance come through service. We had that, ""Now when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed. (Acts 13:36). This is a biblical secret to live a meaningful life.

When you serve people without the intention to gain you will be rewarded. One can go the extreme to do anything to achieve his ambition. Don't be like Pharaoh.

Let me end on this note. Have the names of those whose names are used against a name of a street or road. They served in one capacity or the other. What can you do for your people or country? Seek to serve.
