Being Both Bookwise And Streetwise In Life

Some people have become so good at reading books, that they don't know anything about living life. Every that they think about is theoretical, because they don't engage with the world around them; so that they can gain real life experience.

And this is the reason why you see that when you were in school, most times - the people who were at the top of the class, never become truly rich and financially independent in real life. And it's because they're more bookwise than streetwise.

Streetwise is simply a term used to describe people who know how the real world works. And they apply all that they've learned in school, and from the society - to ensure that they make lots of riches and prosperity for them self.

Some people keep their heads buried in books, so much so that they don't apply the knowledge that they keep on acquiring by reading - in the real life. And the truth will always be that, only the man who applies his knowledge will see results in life.

Note, being bookwise is good, if you combine it with being practical and streetwise. You need to learn to take the initiative in life, and not simply wait for things to happen to you. Get yourself into the world, and engage with people and the things that you like - and create a business out of it.
