SEXUAL SIN

When a person surrenders to sexual sin repeatedly for a certain period of time, the enemy establishes a firm position in that person's being. If that sin persists to the point of being uncontrollable, it becomes a strength of the enemy. A devil of perversion has erected a fortress within the spiritual realm of man. The longer the sin continues, the more fortified the demonic presence will become. What the saint feels he must face the daunting scenario of dislodging an enemy buried deep within his being. Although this may seem quite overwhelming, Paul assures us that this is not the case: "Even though we walk in the flesh, we do not militate according to the flesh; because the weapons of our militia are not carnal, but powerful in God for the destruction of strongholds, overthrowing arguments and all haughtiness that rises against the knowledge of God, and taking captive every thought to obedience to Christ »(2 Corinthians 1)
The enemy will maintain his position only to the point that the believer continues to caress sexual fantasies. Paul tells us to tear down those imaginations. It may take some time before man has a life of pure thoughts, but it is vital that he begins to develop a mental discipline from now on. Peter said: "Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and wait fully on the grace that will be brought to you when Jesus Christ is manifested; As obedient children, do not conformed to the desires that you had before being in your ignorance; but, as he who called you is holy, be ye also holy in all your way of life; because it is written: Be holy, for I am holy "(1 Peter 1: 13-16) .0: 3-5) .

Be sober, and watch; for your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5: 8). Make no mistake, the demons will do anything to get the believer to fall, in order to get him away from the Lord. They are brilliant strategists who have persecuted man from the beginning of his existence. They are well informed of their weaknesses and know exactly how to seduce them into their traps.
