Splinterlands | Close Range Battle Challenge
Another rule set is highlighted in the Share Your Battle Challenge for Splinterlands. This is the Close Range Game Rule.
This is another fairly straightforward rule set where you basically can play your best decks without really having to make much changes. The thing that can be done is to play monsters that both have ranged and Melee attack as a tank since they have double attack but this most likely isn't optimal as those tanks don't tend to stay alive that long. This can be done however if the game rule also only allows Ranged monsters.
The game rules were both that only Ranged monsters were allowed while they also were able to attack from first place. I always tend to lean toward the Dragoin Summoner that gives -1 Ranged attackk combined with the Water Summoner which has some nice defense with the Crustacean King which provides a ton of defense with tank heal and armor for all monsters. I opted for 2 monsters that had both Ranged and Melee attack in the front with the War Chaang and the Vigilator.I followed it up with he Cornealus which has self heal and the return fire ability. The Water Elemental also has self heal and a lot of speed and attack. To end the line up I opted for 2 supporting monsters with the Crustacean King and the Angelic Mandarin
In the end this turned out in a fairly easy win as I had all the right cards to play available to me
