More progress than ever before (but I still can't bring myself to track my numbers!) 🤦‍♀️

It's been a long day. So before I get the heck off this screen I best tell you about how amazingly awesome I'm doing on Hive, right?

That's what Hive Power Up Day is about: bragging, right?

I see all these people doing very diligent, very organised posts about how much their HBD in Savings has increased (from x to y).

I see their fantastic graphs with lines doing all sorts of cool things that somehow explain how they're on track to reach their (ginormous) Hive Power goals by the end of the month or quarter or year.

I see well-written write-ups about which tokens they're choosing to invest in and why, and whether they're staking them or putting them in diesel pools, or both.

I keep thinking I really should do a post like this, and yet, here I am, again, on the first of the month writing some wordy post with not a single number on it thus far. 🤦‍♂️

You'd think I was bad at maths given my resistance to talk about numbers. But actually, I was consistently kicking butt in all my maths classes the whole way through school and university. So I have no idea why I can't bring myself to track a single number or make a freakin' graph.

Let's see what I can tell you about my Hive progress this month (because there has been a lot).

• I powered up 1.000 HIVE every single day ✔️

Right now I have 2,223.080 HP I've received and kept (+ another 100.129 HP that has been delegated to me to use & I delegated some out of the first time this month, to the tune of... 8.027 HP)

• My reputation increased ✔️

(By how much? I have no clue! But according to HiveStats it's currently sitting on 69.3 - sooo much higher than I would have guessed I could get in the time I've been on Hive!)

• I received more tokens (& staked a bunch) ✔️

(My faves are LOL - because they make me lol :P + LUV - because I love loving on people :) + ALIVE because I feel like they're doing fab things + I've always loved LADY because LOH rocks as a community! + I want to get waaaaay better at accumulating LEO because I think Khal and the team there are creating something magnifique!)

• I put somewhere between 10-20% of my received HBD down into Savings each time I spotted them in my wallet ✔️

(I've no idea how much it's increased by in the last 28-days-of-February but I'm very proud of my consistent saving habit that has brought it to its current total of 247.688 $)

• This month I also transferred out 170.00 HIVE (?) effectively swapping it for fiat. ✔️ (Does this get a tick?? It might not be a tick for Hive per se, but it's a tick for me!)

(Given that I still have a chunk of debt in fiat that needs paying off it feels sensible to keep taking small chunks of Liquid HIVE out whenever the HIVE price jumps).

So I'm calling all of that a win!

Now, goals... for this month. Ooft.

I don't know that I'm much better at setting goals than I am at tracking my progress!

Um, let's see:

• Power up every day
• Keep transferring small, regular amounts down to Savings
• Write 13 decent posts for the month (that's about 3 per week, so it feels sustainable)
• Keep curating, replying, loving on people who write decent posts
• Keep handing out tokens and gratefully collecting (and staking them)
• Participate in LEO things and aim to understand the LEO world better while I attempt to collect LEO tokens, and
• Transfer out some HIVE so I can pay for a mini trip to Sydney to see my family ❤️
