Government shutdown and crypto thoughts

If anyone has looked at the news lately, we can see that the government has been shutdown here in America. A certain thought has come across my mind. What if there is a time when the American dollar is worth nothing? What happens? I'm sure those who have converted their fiat currency to digital currency may not feel as disrupted as those whose assets relies heavily on the American dollar. If the dollar was to collapse, would the world adopt on to crypto as a means of trade? Imagine walking into Walmart and buying chips with lite coin or bitcoin. Imagine the economical shift. Millionaires becoming broke overnight. Stock markets would crash. The short term conversion to crypto would dramatically skyrocket the cryptomarket. Just a thought. We all know that the American dollar is losing value everyday.
